Fish the renowned Basswood Lake. Basswood is the premier Northern Minnesota fishing destination. Home to Walleye over 14lbs., Northern Pike over 40lbs., and Smallmouth Bass over 6lbs., Basswood provides what most anglers are looking for © an excellent population of game fish and a chance to land the catch of a lifetime! It is important to note that this lake is in a portion of the Boundary Waters that requires a day use permit. These permits are reserved quickly, so early reservations are a must! Boundary Waters Fishing by Canoe

Guided Ice Fishing Trips:
Call for more details and scheduling information about our guided ice fishing trips. Fishing for Walleye is best in early winter. Mid January and beyond is best for Trout fishing. Crappie fishing is best in late winter or early spring as long as the ice is safe to travel on. Northern Pike fishing can always be good. These trips will explore a variety of local lakes depending on the species of fish you desire.
